The History of Mertz Ford
People have been purchasing their vehicles from Mertz Ford in Millstadt, Illinois since 1921. Three generations of the Mertz family have kept auto buyers coming back by developing a trust with their clientele. 
Don Mertz, current owner, has the same philosophy about the business and dealing with the public as his grandfather and father before him, “If your word’s no good you might as well give up; if you lose trust, you have nothing.”
We must be doing a lot of things right, this is proven by our 90 years of successful sales and service in this community.
