We here at Mertz Ford pride ourselves and have set the standards high. The dealership has been Blue Oval Certified by Ford Motor Company which takes on many aspects of the business that affects the customers, and that includes customer satisfaction (CS) reports that let the management know how well they are following the guidelines. All employees are Ford certified in their field.
New vehicles have computer systems that require much more training, so the technicians who work on them must be “certified” by Ford to be considered skilled enough to perform the work on customers’ vehicles. The sales personnel must be knowledgeable with the new technology such as SYNC, park assist, and all features of the vehicle. Mertz Ford has been located on Route 158, six miles southwest of Belleville, at Route 163, eight miles east of Columbia since 1921 but expansion plans may move the dealership east one block on a 3.5 acres sight.
